I have discovered that Silent Hill Shattered Memories used a music loop from Garageband in one of the game's songs. Akira Yamaoka (the original song writer for Silent Hill) wrote over 200 songs for the Silent Hill franchis and not once did he use a pre-made loop sample. Yet, the second this new American team gets full controle of the series, they start using loops because they can't write music.

Scoot, understandable its kinda lazy of the "new" silent hill team to use bits from garage band to make their music instead of being more unique, and dynamic. People are making hundreds of songs a day and its kinda hard for someone to make a good creepy song for game francises, so it is kind lazy if they went to something like garage band, but it doesnt mean that its a bad thing to need inspiration, and not copy right anyone elses songs. you know?
